A series of new art works under the label of ‘once upon a childhood’.  Each numbered and titled piece, is set in a 32 x 32cm o/a shadow box frame.  The backdrops comprise a collage of contextual historical images, either sourced from my own artwork or newsprint, comics etc. mainly from the 1950s period.  Against each background lies a ‘floating’ screen print made for my Degree Show some 20 years ago. Within the theatre of the boxed frame are placed relevant found objects and handmade elements.
